We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a screen reader, keyboard, magnification or captions.
The standard we meet
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Every page is checked with automated testing (axe-core) at phone and desktop sizes, and colour contrast and keyboard use are also checked by hand.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and has a "Skip to content" link and a visible focus outline.
- Pages use proper headings and landmarks, and the cart, filters and forms announce changes to screen readers.
- Every video has captions and a written description and transcript. Videos never autoplay.
- Animation is turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text and controls meet AA contrast, and nothing scrolls sideways on a 320-pixel screen.
Known limitations
Captions on the example commercials were drafted with speech recognition and then corrected. If you spot a caption that's wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
